It is the result of an inter-institutional dialog among the principal Argentine public and private entities carrying out diverse activities in relation to GAP - Good Agricultural Practices (BPA: Spanish acronym).
Members of the network understand that GAP constitutes an essential instrument in addressing the challenges of the quantitative and qualitative growth of national and global demand for agroindustrial produce, which entails the integration of availability, quality, safety, and sustainability of agroindustrial production.
The term Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) refers to a special manner of producing and processing agricultural produce, so that the processes of planting, harvest and post-harvest of crops meet the requirements of a healthy, safe, and environment-friendly production. Therefore, Good Agricultural Practices:
GAP Network was created as a tool to exchange information and promote inter-institutional dialogue and cooperation among its members, in order to provide an integral approach to different aspects of relevance.
By means of this platform, the Network aims at promoting the implementation of GAP, and communicating the importance of such implementation and the relevance of agricultural activity as a whole.
